CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Led by a third-place effort by Phil Pace at the DeSales Invitational, the TCNJ men's cross country team made it two wins out of two to begin their fall season. The Lions logged 39 points, claiming the team win by just three points ahead of second-place DeSales.
 
Pace finished the 8-kilometer course in under 26 minutes, posting a time of 25:56.30. The junior was joined by three other Lions in the race's top ten: Sean Haggerty (6^th, 26:27.40), Will Evarts (9^th, 26:45.70), and Moksh Patwari (10^th, 26:48.50). William O'Donovan, the lone sophomore in the bunch, finished just outside of the top ten in 11^th (26:56.10).
 
Andrew Scalercio (17^th, 27:26.80) and Sawyer Stellitano (19^th, 27:33.30) also cracked the top-twenty as the Lions' sixth and seventh finishers. Finally, freshmen Julian Groom (24^th, 27:48.80) and Jason Kasoff (27^th, 28:01.40) ran their first competitive races for TCNJ.
 
The Lions will look to keep rolling next Saturday, as they travel to Coatesville, Pennsylvania for the Purple and Gold Open.
