EWING, N.J. -The TCNJ men's soccer team wrapped up its four-game homestand with a match against Swarthmore Tuesday night, playing the Garnet to a nil-nil draw in front of the home crowd. The tie moves the Lions' record to 3-0-4, extending their unbeaten streak to seven games to start the season.

TCNJ was on the attack early in Tuesday's match, racking up three corners in the opening five minutes, but were unable to get anything on frame. It wasn't until the 13th minute that a
Chris Meder header looked poised to open the scoring, only for Swarthmore's (1-5-2) Colin Crowe to make a diving denial to keep the score level.

Sean Najdzinowicz had his number called twice just over 10 minutes later, making a leaping save on a header aimed for the top corner before diving to his left on a liner off the foot of the Garnet's Ben Fair.

Meder and
Matt Will combined for a pair of chances just before the 30-minute mark as did Swarthmore's JohnPaul D'Andrea, but Nadjzinowicz and Crowe were surehanded once again to send the game into halftime scoreless.

After a slow start to the second half, it was Meder finding himself with perhaps the best chance of the night after intercepting an errant pass from Crowe. With Swarthmore's netminder out of position, however, the senior saw his effort from 25 yards out sail over the crossbar.

Neither side did much to generate scoring opportunities from there, with the final whistle ending the up-and-down game in a scoreless draw.
