Kraus brings an impressive career resume into his final season on the mound. The lefty has a 3.17 career ERA in 113.2 innings of work with 86 career strikeouts. In 24 appearances with 21 starts, Kraus has held the opposition to a .221 average and has held them to just 17 extra-base hits in three seasons on work.

He is coming off a strong season that saw him finish with a 6-2 record and a 3.39 ERA with 38 strikeouts. As a rookie in 2004 he worked in just 8.1 innings and finished the season with a 4.32 ERA. He emerged as a starter as a sophomore for the Lions in 2005 and went 3-1 in nine appearances with eight starts. He added 40 strikeouts in 47 innings worked with a 2.63 ERA.

He is a former second-team all-league pick at Neshaminy High School, where he helped his squad win both the league and district championships as a junior.
