Biography

Dan Ramos-Dominko saved one of his best performances of the 2008 season for the opening round of the NCAA regional tournament as the crafty rightie threw a complete game and fanned nine batters as the Lions downed DeSales University, 3-0. By season’s end, he earned a 4-2 record in eight games with seven starts. He worked in 49.2 innings and finished second on the squad with 51 strikeouts.

Among his wins last year was a 12-strikeout effort as he helped the Lions to a 5-1 win over Rutgers-Camden in conference action, while also adding wins over Webster and Widener over the course of the season.

As a sophomore he worked in six games and was 1-0 in 7.2 innings of work. He earned his first career win in a 17-7 victory over the College of Staten Island and finished the season with a 2.35 ERA and nine strikeouts. Overall on his career, he is 5-2 in 60.1 innings of work with 63 strikeouts. He has a 3.73 career ERA in 17 appearances.

A graduate of North Hunterdon High, Ramos-Dominko earned varsity letters in football and basketball. Tapped as the team MVP, he also earned first-team all-conference and all-county honors. He is an interactive multimedia major at TCNJ.
