Biography
In her collegiate debut, Stefanie Haar earned NJAC All-Conference honors in both singles and doubles after also earning NJAC Player of the Week honors as well in her first semester.
By year's end, the talented rookie had amassed a 22-4 record in singles action, playing mostly at fifth singles where she went 10-0 in the lineup. She went 15-1 in dual action on the season and teamed at both second and third doubles with Haley Kutner to go 16-8 on the year.
As a sophomore, Haar added a second NJAC All-Star selection after earning acclaim for her play at second doubles with Amanda Berg. By year's end, she had compiled a record of 22-6 in doubles action and played her season at second doubles with both Berg (11-2) and Haley Kutner (11-4). Playing at fourth singles she posted an 11-3 mark and finished the year with a 17-9 record with a perfect 4-0 performance in the NJAC.
A crafty lefty, Haar possesses a tough style of play to match up with and brings a 39-13 career singles record as well as a 38-14 doubles record into the 2008-2009 campaign. Overall on her career, Haar is now 77-27 for a .740 career win percentage.
She is a former team captain at Marlboro High School, where she was an all-state second team honoree in doubles. A National Honor Society Student, she is now majoring in health and exercise science major at TCNJ.
