Scholastically, Kutner excelled at Dwight Englewood High School, posting a 28-8 mark during her last two years in high school in singles play at the No. 1 spot in the ladder. She also received the Boiling Athletic Award, given to an athlete who shows excellence in athletics and sportsmanship

Voted the recipient of the Coaches' Award for the 2005-2006 season, Kutner amassed a 16-3 record as a newcomer to the Lions and progressed up the lineup as the season wore on. Originally playing at fourth singles in the fall of 2005, Kutner went undefeated at the Lions' Fall Kickoff against New York University, and eventually played at second singles during the spring season. In doubles play, she teamed with Kristen Turturiello for much of the season, amassing an 8-2 dual record with her and an overall double record of 17-3 as a freshman.

As a sophomore, she earned NJAC Player of the Week honors once before also finding her way onto the 2006 NJAC All-Conference Team in singles and doubles. Kutner broke the 20-win plateau as a sophomore after a 20-5 record in singles action, playing both at second and third singles, including a 9-2 dual record at third singles. Overall, she added a 16-8 record as well in doubles in 2006-2007, with a 14-8 mark with Haar.

She returns this season after producing an 8-5 record a year ago, while playing at fifth singles. She added a 1-1 mark in limited play at fourth singles and now sports a 44-13 career singles record into her final year of competition. Kutner is coming off an impressive season in doubles play, where she teamed with Stefanie Haar to go 11-4 with one another, including an 11-3 dual meet mark. 

Overall on her career, Kutner boasts a 44-15 effort in doubles, elevating her combined career mark to 88-28, for a .758 career win percentage.

A three-time TCNJ Scholar-Athlete honoree, she is majoring in art history at TCNJ and is a Dean's List student as well. Her brother Matthew played tennis for Bucknell University.
