Biography

2018: deRocco put forth another efficient season coming out of the bullpen… Tallied an ERA of 1.86 in eight appearances and 9.2 innings pitched…Allowed only two runs and four hits while striking out 10 batters… Threw two perfect innings in the win against Farmingdale State and struck out three.

2017: His sophomore campaign, deRocco made 14 appearances on the mound, with 13 coming out of the bullpen for the Lions… Compiled an efficient 2.25 ERA in 28 innings en route to a 2-1 record… Limited his opponents to a .232 batting average… Earned the win in the Lions opening round victory of the NJAC tournament over William Paterson as he threw 2.2 innings and only allowed one hit, and no runs… Threw two huge scoreless innings in relief in the Lions NJAC Championship victory over Ramapo College.

2016: Compiled 14 innings for the Lions making 4 appearances...  deRocco made a pair of starts against Immaculata and FDU-Florham...  In that game against FDU, deRocco recorded his first career victory, working through 7 innings and striking out 2 in the Lions 10-9 victory.
