Biography

2018: Fischer was a reliable arm for TCNJ his junior season… Went 4-4 and tallied a 2.64 ERA while racking up 58 strikeouts…Threw three complete games on the season and consistently provided length as he averaged 7.1 innings per start… Earned the win against NJAC opponent William Paterson as he went 9 strong innings and allowed only one run on four hits while striking out seven and walking none… Led the team in strikeouts.

2017: In his sophomore season, Fischer started 11 games on the mound for the Lions and tallied a 6-3 record… Totaled a 4.44 ERA and 61 strikeouts, and held opposing hitters to a .251 BA… Threw eight strong innings and earned the win in the Lions victory against Kean University to clinch the top seed in the NJAC Championship Tournament… Pitched 8.1 solid innings in the Lions victory over Kean in the NJAC tournament and struck out seven batters while only allowing three hits... Named All-NJAC Academic honorable mention.

2016: Splitting time between the pen and the starting rotation, Fischer made an instant impact for the Lions pitching staff.  Compiling a record of 3-1 and recording 1 save, Fischer finished the season with a 2.65 era in 34 innings. Fischer tossed a complete game shutout against NJAC opponent Stockton University.  Making two starts on the spring trip in Florida, Fischer registered a pair of wins against Fitchburg and Westfield State.
