George Ackerman Park

A beautiful baseball field located right on campus, George Ackerman Park was named after the late coach and professor George Ackerman. Ackerman coached baseball, football and basketball and was inducted into the Athletic/Alumni Hall of fame in 1984.

A natural-grass playing surface, the field dimensions at George Ackerman Park are 330 feet down the left- and right-field field lines and 400 feet to straight-away center. Student townhouses are protected by a screen just beyond the left-field fence.

TCNJ's baseball program has a storied tradition of success. The names of each Lions' player to earn All-American honors are showcased on the outfield fence.
