Woodend enters his third season on staff with TCNJ baseball. He joined the Lions' coaching staff in the fall of 2011 and works primarily with the baserunners and outfielders while also serving as first-base coach.
A 2011 graduate from Rowan University, Woodend was a three-year starter for the Profs. He batted .316 from th left side in 2011 with 43 hits and eight stolen bases. Woodend was also named to the 2011 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional All-Tournament team, going 5-for-12 in three games.
Woodend was a member of the Dean's List at Rowan and also co-hosted radio talk shows on campus such as the sports talk show title, "Out of Bounds".
