Assistant Coach Conor Gammond enters his first season with The College of New Jersey baseball staff. Gammond’s role includes recruiting coordinator, positional coach, as well as acting first base coach.
Prior to joining the staff at TCNJ, Gammond began his collegiate career at Monmouth University where he was a member of the 2016/2017 teams. After a two-year stint at Monmouth, Gammond continued his collegiate baseball career at Wheaton College (Mass.). While at Wheaton, Gammond played right field both seasons and graduated with a Business & Management degree. He assisted the Lyons in advancing to the 2019 NCAA Regionals in Boston.
Gammond grew up at the Jersey Shore with his family and grandmother. He's the son of George and Jacqueline, and he's the brother of Hannah and Abigael. He also has two Irish setters, Rye and Reese.Â
