Dave Palese joined TCNJ’s baseball staff in 2007 after spending the previous seven seasons on the staff at the University of Rochester. While on the staff at the University of Rochester, he worked with the pitching staff and the catchers. In 2006 he became more involved with the Yellowjackets’ offense and served as the third base coach.

Palese has an extensive background with Major League Baseball International and has worked in six different countries, while spending time in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, Vietnam and most recently he spent time in India as well as working six weeks during the summer of 2007 working at nine different U.S. Military bases in Alaska and Japan. During the fall of 2007, he had a three week tour with MLB International where he worked with the Cambodia National Team as well as making stops in India. He was part of MLB’s first trip to Ho Chi Min, City in Vietnam.

Palese will assist the Lions with his extensive background and knowledge of the game and will serve as the Lions’ hitting coach and will be coaching third base. At TCNJ, Palese also serves as the College’s Interim Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities.
