Assistant Coach Kyle Warren joins The College of New Jersey Baseball staff entering the 2018 season, where he will have the role of Recruiting Coordinator, coach the Outfielders, and serve as 1st Base Coach.
Warren’s prior experience is in professional baseball, where he began as an intern in the Community Relations and Public Relations departments for the Baltimore Orioles while attending Towson University. After graduation he transitioned into various Player Development roles, working with minor league players and coaches of the New York Mets (2013-14), Atlanta Braves (2015), and Baltimore Orioles (2016). In the spring of 2017 he worked in Amateur Scouting for the Houston Astros, helping identify players for the MLB Draft in the New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania area.
Warren transitioned to collegiate baseball in the summer of 2017, when he was a coach of the Pineland Starz in the Metropolitan Collegiate Baseball League. He is also an instructor at All-Star Baseball Academy in Cherry Hill, NJ.
