2017…Mitchell started his junior year off strong with a PR in the 5k of 16:19.7 at the Houghton Short Course Twilight…Ran his best time in the 8k of 25:48.2.

2016.. Ran season’s best time of 25:50.6 at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships helping the team to a third place finish overall. . . At the New Jersey Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships he placed in the top 20 helping the Lions to win the NJAC Title for the 23^rd consecutive time. . . Mitchell finished his season at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in Louisville, Kentucky.

2015.. In his first season as a Lion, Mitchell began the season with a collegiate PR in the 5K at the TCNJ Blue and Gold Meet with a time of 16:32. ... He followed with an 8K PR of 25:45.2 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships placing 11^th out of 91 runners. ... Finished the season earning All-NJAC Second Team honors.
