Ryan Hayward returns for a ninth season on the Lions’ coaching staff after playing for four years in the goal for his alma mater.

As a senior, he helped the Lions as a 21-game starter in 2000 and finished his career with a 1.14 career GAA in 4,011 minutes of service in net. As a senior, he was named to the 2000 NSCAA Adidas Metro Regional Team. In the classroom. Hayward graduated at the top of his class with a 3.7 GPA and earned a Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award in economics.

Hayward is currently operating Total Soccer, a soccer training company in the central New Jersey area, along with fellow TCNJ graduate and men's soccer player, Evren Asral. Recently, Hayward completed his U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) A License.

A 2001 graduate of TCNJ, Hayward will be responsible for the Lions’ goalkeepers and all other aspects of TCNJ’s men’s soccer program.
