2023 (FIFTH YEAR): Second Team All-NJAC...
Rejoined team after a three-year hiatus ... Named team captain in preseason ... Played in all 18 games, starting in 17 of them... Led the team in minutes played with 1511... Scored his lone goal of the season in the 4-1 win over NYU (9/9).
2019 (SOPHOMORE): All-NJAC Honorable Mention … Had a strong sophomore year for the Lions … Started in all 18 games … Scored four goals on the year to tie for the team lead … Scored two goals in a span of 37 seconds in TCNJ’s 2-1 victory over Stevens (9/25).
2018 (FRESHMAN): Played in 13 games with eight starts his freshman season for TCNJ … Scored his first two career goals in the victory over Brooklyn College (10/15) … Added another goal the next game against Stevens (10/17).
BEFORE TCNJ: Played soccer at Hopewell Valley Central High School, where he was a First Team All-CVC defender as well as a third team all-state player ... Team won the state sectional title.
WHY TCNJ? Has always been my dream school given how close to home it is, as well as it being a great school with majors I am interested in.
PERSONAL: Birthday is March 26 ... Parents are John and Diane Bettino ... Father played soccer at Princeton ... Has a sister, Gabriella, who played golf at Carnegie Mellon ... Biggest athletic thrill so far has been finishing his first half-marathon (Air Force Half-marathon in Dayton, Ohio), a great personal accomplishment while having the support of his family there with him ... Hobbies including playing hiking, fishing, kayaking, reading, lawncare, and traveling ...Likes Fvalor Blasted Goldfish before a game and a sub after ... Favorite athletes are Cristiano Ronaldo and David Goggins ... Plans to be a graduate assistant in the weight room ... Big fan of musical theater and took a few years of performing arts classes in high school
