One of the Lions' top returning defenders, Jeff Lageman started 17 games a year ago and helped the Lions hold the opposition to a 1.59 goals against average in 2003. As a sophomore, his primary assignment was to shadow the opponent's top playmaker. While this task is undaunting, Lageman did it without receiving one single caution the entire season.

As a newcomer for the Lions in 2002, he started 19 of 20 games played and helped anchor the Lions' defense. The team had a combined 1.16 GAA with six shutouts.

Active as a member of TCNJ's men's lacrosse club team, he earned rookie of the year honors from his team mates last year. His sister, Becca is a former lacrosse player at Duke, while his sister Sarah played the same sport at the University of Connecticut. He is an undecided major at TCNJ.
