Tri-Captain
Elected team tri-captain for the 2006 campaign, Tim Dudek returns after a banner 2005 season. A 20-game starter on offense last year, Dudek's transition from defense to offense last fall was a primary reason for the Lions' success as TCNJ won both the NJAC regular season and NJAC tournament in 2005. A 2005 NJAC All-Star Second Team pick, Dudek was the Lions' second leading scorer with 24 points on 10 goals and four assists. His good pace and ability to win balls in the air made him an ideal target player up top in the transition from defense to offense. He possesses a strong foot and a willingness to battle for loose balls and was a spark for the Lions last year having also earned one selection as the NJAC's Offensive Player of the Week tallied the game-winner in TCNJ's 3-2 win over Stevens and the game-tying goal in the match-up against NJAC foe, Montclair State. He finished the season with five game-winning goals.
A three-year starter, Dudek has started all 55 games on his career, while adding 12 goals and five assists. On his career, he is a versatile player who sports a six-foot-two inch frame. Tapped for the 2003 NJAC Honorable Mention Team as a freshman, Dudek provided the overtime game-winner against SUNY New Paltz in the Drew Fall Festival in 2004.
Scholastically, Dudek was a member of the U-19 New Jersey state champions Willingboro Strikers in 2003. A finance major at TCNJ, he worked two summers ago in TCNJ's Office of Admissions and spent the summer of 2006 working as an intern at Merrill Lynch. Dudek also serves as a College Ambassador.
