Daniel Eckel was a four year varsity letter winner for the Princeton University swim team. He aided the Tigers to three Eastern Conference titles and finished his swimming career as an All-American. Daniel also participated in the 2008 US Olympic Trials.

Daniel served as the graduate assistant coach last year and helped the Lions to their best finish (6th at the NCAA Championships) in program history. This year he is returning as Coach Bishop's full time assistant. He will bring his experience and knowledge of swimming to help TCNJ keep up it's tradition of excellence.
