Caputo returns to assist the Lions for a third year after enjoying a successful swimming career for TCNJ. He raced fom 2009-10 through the 2012-13 season predominantly as a distance freestyle specialist.
During his senior season, Caputo earned All-American honorable mention honors in the 1650-free event at the national championships, placing 15th overall. He also earned All-NJAC First Team honors in the 500-free, 1650-free and 800-free relay.
During his career, Caputo was All-NJAC First Team in the 1650-free for four straight seasons. He is also still the program record-holder in that event with a time of 15:50.34. As a freshman, Caputo was named NJAC Rookie of the Year.
