Paul Casazza enters his third season as an assistant coach for the TCNJ men’s swimming & diving program in 2020-21.
Casazza is also the Director of Competitive Aquatics at the West Essex YMCA in Livingston, N.J. He has held that position since 2008, and is responsible for managing a competitive swim team of 112 swimmers. Additionally, Casazza is managing a pre-team program of 50 swimmers, as well as developing workout programs for practice groups. Prior to joining the West Essex YMCA,
Casazza held the same role at the Westfield Area YMCA in Westfield, N.J.
Casazza was the Head Swim Coach at the Somerset Valley YMCA from 1991-99. Prior to that he was the Head Swim Coach for St. Joseph’s High School in Metuchen, N.J. He coached the swim team to the state championship in his first season. For his efforts, Casazza was named Star Ledger and Courier News ’91 Boys Swimming Coach of the Year.
He is a member of the American Swimming Coaches Association, and the USA Swimming Coaches.
