Sean Welcome is a newcomer to the Lions’ coaching staff this season. A 1998 graduate of nearby Rider University, he played first singles for two years after earning an athletic scholarship playing for the Division I Broncs.
He is currently employed by the Competitive Edge Tennis Academy as the head teaching professional. He has had considerable success coaching both nationally and sectionally ranked players. He is a certified teaching professional through the PTR at the professional level. Welcome is also certified in speed and agility training through Pat Etcheberry.
