As a Lion newcomer in 2004-2005, Eric Ferriere worked hard throughout the fall and winter and was able to break into the starting lineup during the spring portion of the season. He finished the year with an impressive 15-4 record at fourth singles and went 11-4 in doubles play at the third spot. He went 12-3 in dual singles action on the year and returned ready to make a move up in the singles ladder after a strong start to his career.

Ferriere's sophomore season was spectacular. He amassed an 11-1 dual match record and a 16-5 overall singles mark to improve his career singles won-loss total to 31-9. For his outstanding play, Ferriere was named the team's Most Improved Player for the 2005-2006 season. He played anywhere from third-sixth singles in the spring of 2005, losing only his final match of the year. He teamed with several partners to earn a 10-2 dual match record in doubles.

He is coming off another strong season as a junior where he added a 19-4 record in singles play. Ferriere went 12-2 at third singles over the course of the year, while adding a 7-2 mark in tournament competition. He teamed at No. 2 doubles with Corey Ball to produce a 15-5 record together and overall went 16-5 in doubles play with a 6-1 record in tournament play.

Elected a team captain for the coming season, he brings some lofty numbers into the 2007-2008 season. He now stands at 50-13 in singles action with a 41-14 doubles record, giving him a combined collegiate record of 91-27.

A three-sport star at Kittatinny High School, Ferriere excelled in soccer, basketball and tennis and earned team MVP honors while serving as a captain. A National Honor Society student, he is majoring in biology at TCNJ.
