Was 5-for-7 with four doubles and three RBIs in a sweep of NJCU (4/9) ... Had an 11-game hitting streak, including six straight multi-hit performances ... Batted 15-for-21 with 11 runs scored and six RBIs during that six-game sequence, which included doubleheaders against Montclair State (4/23), Rutgers-Camden (4/24), and Rutgers-Newark (4/26) ... 2021 (SOPHOMORE): First Team NFCA All-East Region … First Team All-NJAC … NJAC Rookie of the Week (3/15) … Hit a blistering .453 on the season which ranked second in the NJAC and led the team … Scored 35 runs to lead the conference … Led TCNJ with 11 two-hit games and three three-hit games … Went 4-for-5 with three runs scored in the doubleheader sweep over Ramapo (4/3)
BEFORE TCNJ: Transferred from Holy Cross University … Played softball at Toms River North, where she was team MVP in 2017, 2018, and 2019, NFCA All-Region in 2018, NFCA Third Team All-American in 2018, three-time All-Division (A South), three-time all Ocean County, and All-Shore in 2019 … Reached 100 career hits in 2019 … Team was Class A South Champions in 2018.
PERSONAL: Chose to come to TCNJ because she wanted to be closer to home and was looking for a school that had great academics and athletics ... Both parents are TCNJ alumni and mother, Michelle Carlson-Neveling, was one of TCNJ’s all-time softball greats and is in the TCNJ Athletics Hall of Fame … Has a hidden talent of being able to say the alphabet backwards in four seconds.
