2024 (JUNIOR): Started 30 games at third base ... Hit ..268 with a home run and 22 RBIs ... Third on the team in RBIs, doubles (8), and runs scored (18) ... Stole six bases without being caught ... Started season on five-game hitting streak, including a 3-for-4 day with two doubles, two runs scored, and an RBI against Oswego (3/11) and a 2-for-3 effort with a home run, two RBIs, and two runs against Miss. University for Women (3/12) down in Myrtle Beach ... Had three hits and three runs against Brevard (3/13) ... Racked up five RBIs in back-to-back games against Rutgers-Newark (4/23) and William Paterson (4/27) ... Drove in a run in NJAC Tournament win at Stockton (4/30) ... Finished with 60 assists and 23 putouts in the field
2023 (SOPHOMORE): Named to the All-NJAC Second Team...Hit .317 (40-for-126) with seven doubles, two triples and three home runs, while also putting up 19 RBIs...Showed great discipline at plate after drawing 11 walks...Recorded consecutive three-hit performances against Muhlenberg (3/14) and McDaniel (3/14)...Slammed first home run of season in two-hit game against Suffolk (3/15)...Hit 3-for-5 with three RBIs and a homer in series sweep against NJCU (4/7)...Went 5-for-7 with two RBIs and a pair of doubles in doubleheader against Rutgers-Camden (4/18)...Hit a double and scored run in NCAA Regionals opener against Manhattanville (5/18)...Recorded a hit in NCAA Regionals finale against No. 13 Virginia Wesleyan (5/20)
2022 (FRESHMAN): Showed off her power, tying for the team lead with four home runs and driving in 15 runs in just 60 at-bats ... Hit .283 with a double and scored 11 runs .. Also went 1-1 with a 3.94 ERA in four appearances in the circle, with one start ... Made pitching debut with four shutout innings in a win over St. Norbert (3/18) ... Also recorded her first career hit in that game ... Went 5-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs in a sweep of Cabrini (3/25) ... Homered in both ends of a sweep against NJCU (4/9)
BEFORE TCNJ: First-team all-conference star at Hunterdon Central Regional High School ... Helped lead Red Devils to three county championships
WHY TCNJ? TCNJ is super close to home, so I knew I could study exactly what I wanted to in a great education program, play on an amazing competitive softball team, and still stay close with my family!
PERSONAL: Birthday is March 21 ... Parents are Rick and Lisa Yard ... Siblings are Courtney and Ricky ... Sister played softball and is in the Hall of Fame at Kean ... Biggest athletic thrill has been winning the NJAC championship in 2023 ... Likes a bagel with cream cheese before a game, and after a game likes anywhere her parents will take her for dinner
