BEFORE TCNJ: All-league standout in both cross country and track and field at Indian Hills High School ... Earned first team all-league and second team All-North Jersey honors in cross country as a senior and was named second team all-league in winter track ... Won a Bergen County Group C championship ... Helped Eagles claim North 1 Group 2 sectional title in 2023 ... Received United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award in 2024 ... High Honor Roll student

WHY TCNJ? I chose to come to TCNJ because its location is close enough to home that I can go back if I need to, but far enough that I feel independent. Also, their athletic program influenced my decision, as I wanted to run on a college team. Lastly, their accounting academic program was excellent.

PERSONAL: Birthday is October 24 ... Parents are Paul and Christina Maybeck ... Siblings are Marisa and Tom ... Had to quit track season due to an iron deficiency, but came back as a senior and won the Bergen County Group C championship and "that race was the moment I knew that this sport meant the world to me and I could never give it up" ... Likes listening to music, shopping, and hanging out with friends ... Favorite pre- and post-meet meal is penne alla vodka with grilled chicken ... Biggest athletic thrill so far has been being named NJAC Rookie of the Year and being on the Regional team ...  Favorite athletes are Allyson Felix and Sydney McLaughlin ... Involved with IMASC
