Salini Iyer joined her alma mater's staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2026 season.

Iyer enjoyed a standout career in both cross country and track and field at TCNJ. She was a 3-time All-Metro Region and 2-time All-NJAC First Team performer in cross country and won four medals at NJAC championship meets in track and field, including as an indoor DMR champion in 2024. She was also runner-up in the indoor mile in 2022 and twice finished third in the indoor 3,000 meters.

Iyer was also a 3-time NJAC All-Academic Team honoree.
