Assistant coach Robert Turner enters his 25th year with TCNJ's women's soccer program.  Turner helped head coach Joe Russo get the program off the ground in 1990 and turn it into one of Division III's top programs.  During his tenure, the Lions have advanced to the NCAA title five times, winning the crown three times (1993, '94 and 2000).  One of his duties as assistant coach is recruiting for the highly successful TCNJ women's soccer program.

For the past 25 years, Turner has been involved with New Jersey Youth Soccer's Olympic Development Program (ODP).  His current position is Girls' ODP State Administrator.  Other duties have included director of coaching and ODP Committe member as a college representative.

Turner and his wife, Kristine, reside in Pennington, NJ.  Kristine is currently the head women's soccer coach at Monmouth University.
