Carly Fackler

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Carly Fackler joined The College of New Jersey swimming and diving program as an Assistant Coach in 2025, bringing with her a strong background as both a Division I student-athlete and a successful high school coach at Princeton High School from 2013 through the 2024-2025 season.

A former Division I swimmer at Rider University from 2009-2013, Carly specialized in freestyle and backstroke and was known for consistent conference scoring, leadership as a team captain, and a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team all 4 years. Current TCNJ diving coach Eric Blevins served as Rider's diving coach during her time on the squad. After graduating as a double major in Secondary Education and Mathematics, she transitioned into teaching and coaching, quickly making an impact at the high school level in the state of New Jersey.

Before joining TCNJ, Fackler served as the head coach of both the men and women’s teams at Princeton High School, where she helped lead the women’s team to a New Jersey Group B High School State Championship in the 2022-2023 season. Under her guidance, multiple swimmers achieved personal bests, broke multiple school records, and advanced to collegiate programs.

At TCNJ, Fackler contributes to all aspects of the program, including athlete development, recruiting, and race preparation. She is passionate about fostering a positive, hardworking, and team-first culture — drawing on personal experience as both an elite athlete and a coach of champions. Fackler is certified by USA Swimming, NFHS, and The American Red Cross and remains dedicated to helping student-athletes reach their full potential in the pool, classroom, and beyond.
