Joe Pollard returns for his sixth season with the Lion program after competing at nearby Division I Rider University during his collegiate career. In 2007, Pollard was honored as the National Wrestling Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year. 

As Icenhower's top assistant coach, Pollard handles a majority of  the technique instruction, which makes him invaluable. he is also a popular instructor for clinics throughout the region.

A place winner at the Prep Nationals as a student at the Peddie School, Pollard was a New Jersey State qualifier. A two-time first-team All-County selection, he was also a three-time County Champion and earned Most Outstanding Wrestler honors at the Mercer County tournament.

Pollard is currently in his fourth year as an English teacher at Hamilton West High School.
