Phil Gogarty was named Athletic Facilities & Equipment Coordinator in the summer of 2024.

About a year into his role, Phil took the lead on Football equipment operations starting in the 2025 season. Each fall season, his obligations for all things football equipment range from fittings to maintenance, and he serves as the equipment manager on the sideline at all football practices and games.

A 2023 graduate of TCNJ, Gogarty served as the graduate assistant for Equipment Operations prior to his new role. Before that, he worked as a student manager in the equipment room for two years.

Gogarty received his MBA from TCNJ in January of 2026 with a specialization in Strategy, Innovation, and Leadership. He is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA). During his time as an undergraduate student at TCNJ, he served on the executive boards for the Student Finance Board as Programming Director and the School of Business Peer Mentor Program as a Peer Mentor Coordinator.
