James earned NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors as well after accounting for five touchdowns in the Lions' NJAC-opening 42-32 road win at Buffalo State. In the victory, he completed 24-of-31 pass attempts for 303 yards and three passing touchdowns (34, 11, and 14 yards apiece). He also rushed 13 times for 40 yards and two touchdowns.
