Fitzsimmons was a perfect 2-0 on the mound for the Lions throwing shutouts in both of those wins. The freshman started the week with a one-hitter in a 2-0 win over Muhlenberg College and then turned in a four-hitter as the Lions defeated Montclair State University 3-0. Over the course of her 14 scoreless innings, she struck out 13 batters.
