Washington was tabbed as the Most Valuable Player of the Hampton Inn Coaches vs. Cancer Classic hosted by York College as the Lions claimed the title with a pair of wins. She scored 10 points to go along with nine rebounds in a win over Norwich and then had a balanced effort against York in the finals with seven points, three rebounds, three steals and a pair of assists. Earlier in the wek, she just missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds against Marymount.
