Hommen got her collegiate career off to a fast start helping the softball team win its first two games of the season. She picked up two hits in the a season-opening 8-3 win over Rochester and then boasted a 3-for-3 performance in a 12-1 triumph over Dominican University. She is hitting an impressive .833 so far this season and has also driven in a pair of runs and scored three times.
