Goncalves crossed the finish line in front of all 65 runners at the NJAIAW/Osprey Open hosted by Richard Stockton College, posting a winning time of 22:52.13 in the 6k event. It was the first collegiate win in a cross country race for Goncalves as the Lions won the event.
