Carpenter enjoyed an efficient week, as he averaged 17.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 steals in a 2-1 stretch for the Lions. Carpenter was especially deadly from beyond the three-point arc, shooting 15-of- 24 (62.5%) from deep. He began the week with a game-high 20 points in the defeat against Rutgers-Newark, and would follow that up with a 15 point effort in the victory over Rutgers-Camden, where he hit 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. In the Lions win over Ramapo, snapping the Roadrunners 23-game home winning streak, Carpenter scored 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting going 5-of-7 from long range. He also set a career-high with five steals in the contest.
