Jessica Clarke picked up her eighth shutout of the season.

Box Score

Saratoga Springs, N.Y...The College of New Jersey scored all three of its goals in the second-half on the way to a 3-0 shutout of  Western Connecticut State in the NCAA Division III second round played Sunday at Skidmore College's Wachenheim Field.

The Lions (14-6-1) advance to NCAA Sectionals to be played either Nov. 21-22 or Nov. 22-23. The Colonials season ends with a 15-4-3 record.

TCNJ struck 1:24 into the second half when senior Coleen Weber (Mullica Hill, N.J.) sent a cross to classmate Jamie Kunkel (Mount Laurel, N.J.), who sent a floater over Western Connecticut keeper
Shannon Cawley's (Willimatic, Conn.) head and just out of reach of a Colonial defender for what proved to be the game winner.

The Lions made it 2-0 when senior Jillian Casey (Voorhees, N.J.) handled a ball from a corner kick that was tipped from Cawley and poked it through two WestConn defenders into an open net at 69:50.

An insurance goal for TCNJ came with 58 seconds left in regulation when freshman Annie McCarthy (Brick, N.J.) stole the ball at the top of the goalie box, beat a Colonial defender, and put it into the top right corner of the goal to seal the final score at 3-0.

Lion net minder Jessica Clarke (Wayne, N.J.) ended the game with eight saves and her eighth shutout of the season. Cawley tallied seven saves in the loss.
