Ewing, NJ... The College of New Jersey lacrosse and softball teams earned at-large bids into the 2010 NCAA Championships.
TCNJ softball received its news via broadband broadcast at noon today and will travel to Rhode Island College for the 2010 NCAA Softball Championships. The Lions (31-8) are the top seed in the region and will take on sixth-seeded Baruch College (23-20) on Friday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m. It's the first time TCNJ has been in the NCAA tournament since 2000 when they advanced to Division III World Series.

Sally Miller's squad is in one of two, six-team brackets in the field. The rest of the regions have eight teams for a total of 60 teams competing for the national title. Rounding out the Rhode Island regional site are second-seeded Moravian College (30-12), #3-seed and NJAC tournament champion Kean University (29-15), #4 Wesleyan (Connecticut) (23-16-1), and fifth-seeded Neumann College (26-16).
