Ewing, NJ ... The College of New Jersey softball doubleheader with New Jersey City University has been changed to an 11:30 a.m. start. The games were originally scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.

Due to several forecasts that are calling for rain to begin later in the afteroon and through the weekend, the Lions and Gothic Knights have agreed to start the doubleheader earlier with hopes of avoiding potential inclement weather.

Game Note: During the doubleheader, the Lions will be "Playing for Orange," raising money to support a local resident and her fight against Leukemia. Proceeds will benefit Wilmeris, who is a fifth grader in the Ewing School District and lives next door to a number of TCNJ student-athletes. Raffle tickets will be available throughout the games with the winning ticket being drawn in the fifth inning of the second game.
