Ewing, NJ ... The College of New Jersey men' soccer team will compete in the Osprey Open this weekend hosted by Richard Stockton College.

The Lions (2-1) will take on 10th-ranked Babson College tonight at 7:30 p.m. in their opener. TCNJ has won two straight games by scores of 1-0 over Western Connecticut State and 3-0 against Berekely College. Senior Kevin Shaw is off to a hot start, netting single tallies in all three contests.

The defense has also been solid in allowing just 19 shots in three games. Freshman goalkeeper Maciej Libucho and senior netminder Matt Fredrick have posted back-to-back shutouts.

The Beavers bring a perfect 3-0 record into the contest. Their latest victory was a 3-2 overtime win over Bridgewater State. Jimmy Stenton scored the game-winner just under two minutes into the extra period. They also defeated Wentworth Institute of Technology (5-0) and Salem State (3-0) earlier this season.

TCNJ plays Lebanon Valley College on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Dutchmen are also unbeaten in three matches this season.
