TCNJ shuts out Ramapo for critical NJAC win

Ewing, NJ … The College of New Jersey men's soccer team notched its fifth shutout and sixth win of the season, defeating Ramapo College 1-0 in New Jersey Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at TCNJ's Soccer Complex.

The victory keeps the Lions (6-8-1, 2-5 NJAC) in contention for a spot in the NJAC playoffs. The three points gained in the win puts TCNJ in seventh place with two games to play. The Lions visit William Paterson University next Saturday before hosting Rowan University in the regular season finale on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Lions Stadium.

Junior Ryan Sullivan (Hillsborough, NJ/Immaculata) scored the game's only goal on a penalty kick in the 32nd minute. Classmate Maciej Libucha (Woodland Park, NJ/Passaic Valley) recorded his second solo shutout of the season.
