Erick Murdock, Jr. (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater) and lifted strong to the basket to bank in the winning shot with two seconds on the clock. He was fouled on the play and dropped in the free throw to give the Lions a three-point cushion.

Eric Klacik (Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge) stole the inbounds pass and ran out the clock to give TCNJ another thrilling victory. The Lions have now won eight of their last 10 games, including six of its last seven New Jersey Athletic Conference match-ups. TCNJ currently stands at 11-8 overall and 7-5 in the NJAC with a firm hold on fourth place.

Richard Stockton fell to 16-3 and 10-2 in league play. They entered the game tied for the first in the NJAC with William Paterson University. Several games around the conference were pushed to tomorrow due to weather. The only other league action saw Rutgers-Newark defeating Montclair State University, 98-71.

The Ospreys held a 36-31 halftime advantage, but a 9-0 run early in the second period gave TCNJ a 40-38 lead. Senior
Skyelar Ettin (Princeton, NJ/Princeton) drained a pair of three-point buckets during the stretch to put the Lions on top. Following an
Armin Cane jumper that tied the score, TCNJ tallied the next six points to remain in command. Rookie
Elias Bermudez (Westwood, NJ/Westwood) capped that stretch with an offensive board and put-back to push the Lions ahead by six.

Klacik then stepped forward with a field goal and dagger from behind the arc on back-to-back possessions to extend the lead 51-42. Senior
Jayson Johnson (Bordentown, NJ/Life Center Academy) followed with a layup and TCNJ suddenly owned a double-digit advantage with 9:33 remaining.

Josh Blamon got hot and brought the Ospreys back to a one-point deficit nearly single-handedly. He scored seven of nine points for Richard Stockton and knocked down a three-pointer to close the gap to 57-56 with 4:52 to play.

TCNJ continued to hold its own and a layup by Klacik followed by two Ettin free throws stretched the Lions lead to 61-56. Stockton eventually tied it at the foul line, but a Johnson jumper with 22 seconds remaining gave the Lions a two-point lead.

Cane, who ranks third in the NJAC in scoring at 17.4 points per game, came up big at the opposite end. He got the roll on a running jumper to tie the contest at 63 with 6.1 ticks on the clock.

Head coach Kelly Williams called a timeout to set up a final offensive play in regulation. Johnson handled the ball and drew traffic before dishing to Brackett. He went up to the basket immediately to bank in the game-winner. Brackett led the Lions with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson and Klacik finished with 12 points and Ettin tallied 11 points. Murdock, Jr. contributed eight points, six boards and four assists.

Blamon led all scorers with 20 points, while Cane added 15 points and six rebounds.

TCNJ bring its exciting second half of the season back home to Packer Hall on Saturday. The Lions take on Rutgers-Newark at 1 p.m.
