Box Score TCNJ Men's Basketball opened the 2015-16 season against an experienced Salve Regina team at the Wheaton Tip-Off Tournament.  The Lions lost in a back-and-forth nail bitter 80-79.

TCNJ went into halftime trailing 49-40 after a slow start. The Lions came out of the half strong erasing a nine point deficit in the first 5 minutes. They grabbed the lead at the 15:25 mark with a lay-up by freshman, Jordan Glover '19. TCNJ displayed tough defense, allowing the first FG at the 15:12 mark in the second half.

From there, it was a back and forth affair with the Lions on the wrong side of an 80-79 contest. Sophomore, Eric Murdock '18, had a strong start to the season with 19 points, 9 assists, 5 rebound, and 4 steals. Freshman, Kevin Bloodgood '19, chipped in with 12 points off the bench in his first collegiate contest. EJ Bermudez '18 led the Lions in rebounding with 9 boards and added 10 points.

The Lions look to bounce back tomorrow afternoon as they face Wheelock College in the second day of the Wheaton Tip-Off Tournament.
