Camden, NJ… The College of New Jersey women's lacrosse team racked up its 24
th straight conference win as the Lions dispatched of host Rutgers-Camden 17-1 on Tuesday.

The win brought the program's New Jersey Athletic Conference winning streak to an even two dozen as the Lions have not lost to league foe since the 2010 campaign. This was the conference opener for both teams as the 11
th-ranked Lions moved to 3-1 overall and the Scarlet Raiders dipped to 1-4.

TCNJ scored the game's first eight goals and never looked back as the Lions claimed an 11-1 lead at the half. They tallied the only six goals in the final 30 minutes to wrap up the victory.

Senior
Kendal Borup (Plainsboro, NJ/West Windsor-Plainsboro South) continued her fast start to the season with four goals and one assist. In just four games this season, the attack has 23 points on 16 goals and seven assists.

Ava Fitzgerald (Merrick, NY/Calhoun) was one of three other Lions to record hat tricks in the win. She was joined by sophomore
Mia Blackman (Arlington, VA/Field School) and freshman
Amanda Muller (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough). Freshman
Christina Costantino (Mahwah, NJ/Mahwah) had a break-out game with six points, recording a pair of goals and dishing out four assists.

The Lions face their toughest test of the young season on Thursday, March 19 when they travel to fourth-ranked Gettysburg College to take on the Bullets at 4 p.m.
