Box Score Newark, NJ … A flurry of second-half goals resulted in a draw as The College of New Jersey men's soccer team battled Johns Hopkins University to a 3-3 tie on Saturday at the Scarlet Raider Soccer Classic hosted by Rutgers-Newark.

Five goals were scored in under 13 minutes, including a pair by the Lions (4-0-1) in a span of less than three minutes. TCNJ remains unbeaten on the 2015 season, while the Blue Jays moved to 3-1-1.

Trailing 1-0 entering the second half, Lions' sophomore
Thomas Hogue (Ridgefield Park, NJ/Bergen Catholic) tied the match with a goal in the 62
nd minute. Hogue found the ball at his feet off of a deflection, settled and ripped a shot that beat the goalkeeper for his first tally of the season. Junior
Nick Costelloe (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Township) then took a feed from classmate
Domenic Polidoro (Monroe, NJ/Monroe) and deposited his fourth goal of the season in the 65
th minute.

The Blue Jays (3-1-1) responded just over four minutes later with a goal by Arden Chew to even the contest at 2-2. Less than four minutes later, senior
Greg Kaye (Morganville, NJ/Marlboro) knocked in a feed from Hogue to regain a one-goal advantage.

But JHU struck again in the 75
th minute as Victor Osio registered the equalizer. The two teams fought through 20 minutes of play in overtime, but the defense held strong to keep the game tied..

Jake Nesteruk (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East) faced 24 shots in the game and registered six saves.
