Ewing, NJ...The College of New Jersey and Kean University women's soccer teams each netted 2-0 wins on Saturday as the team competed in TCNJ's Adidas Classic.
 
The ninth-ranked Lions posted a 2-0 shutout over SUNY Oneonta, while the Cougars topped fifth-ranked Johns Hopkins University by that same score.
 
The tournament concludes on Sunday with SUNY Oneonta and Kean squaring off at 11 a.m., while TCNJ and Johns Hopkins take the field at 1:30 p.m.

The Lions (2-0-1) netted the first goal of the game 19:57 into the contest when sophomore Jessica Goldman (Belle Mead, NJ/Montgomery) knocked in a pass from classmate Elizabeth Thoresen (Colts Neck, NJ/Red Bank Catholic).
 
TCNJ added an insurance goal in the second period as senior Christina Roach (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) cashed in on an assist from Goldman.
 
For the third straight game, senior keeper Jessica Weeder (Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) recorded a shutout with save. In three games this season, she has yet to allow a goal.
 
Kean 2, #5 Johns Hopkins University 0
Senior keeper KC Nunez made 11 saves to earn the shutout and spark the Cougars to the upset win.
 
Freshman Sally Campuzano netted her first collegiate goal at the 67:07 of the game mark off an assist from sophomore Emily Jurcsek. 
 
Kean added insurance goal as sophomore Kaitlyn Pallitto tallied off a pass from freshman Sabrina Pascarella in the 86th minute to round out the scoring.
