Madison, NJ … The College of New Jersey men's soccer team scored a late goal in the second half to garner a 1-1 draw at Drew University on Wednesday night.

st minute to knot the game at 1-1. Both teams battled in the overtime periods, but neither team was able to tally the golden goal

The Lions season record now stands at 4-3-1, while the Rangers are 4-2-1.
Â
Drew struck early with a goal in the 11
th minute.
Anthony McMyne got possession tight in the box and poked in his second goal of the season. That would be all of the offense Drew could produce against a stingy TCNJ defense.
Â
Still trailing 1-0 in the 81
st minute, a foul just outside the right corner of the box gave the Lions a free kick. Senior
Domenic Polidoro (Monroe, NJ/Monroe) took the restart and his initial kick was blocked by the wall. He served the rebound toward the left side of the goal and Panizza headed home the equalizer into the left pocket.
Â
Senior
Nick Costelloe (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Twp.) had a solid chance in the first overtime. Junior
Peter Dresch (Highland Park, NJ/St. Joseph) delivered a corner kick to the near post and Costelloe's shot attempt went high in the final minute of the initial OT period. Costelloe also nearly scored in the opening minutes of the game when he knocked a header off the crossbar.
Â
Lions' goalkeeper
Dan Walsh (Waldwick, NJ/Waldwick) stopped four shots in the match. Ranger goalie
Stephan Lukianov registered five saves in the game.
