The Lions (5-4-1, 2-1 NJAC) outshot the Scarlet Raptors (5-2-2, 2-1 NJAC) by a margin of 23-8, but could not find the back of the net. RUC goalkeeper

Dan Gilbert and knocked a shot off the right post and in for the game-winner.

TCNJ dropped its first conference game of the season after winning their first two. The 1-0 shutout marked the first time this season the Lions have been held scoreless.
