In the second period, neither team was able to break the tie. The best chance came with three minutes to go in regulation, when the Scarlet Raptors had a chance from eight feet out off of a cross but Kayal once again came up with the crucial save to preserve the Lion lead. In the first overtime, Kayal made another clutch save as he stopped a breakaway to keep the Lions alive, however neither team was able to net the game winning goal.
